This guide outlines the procedural steps for reviewers to complete their evaluations within the Dype management system.
1. System Authentication
Credentials: Utilize the login credentials (username and password) previously dispatched to your email via the official Letter of Appointment/Orientation.
Access Point: Navigate to the event’s official website and locate the menu labeled "Área do Inscrito" (Subscriber/Participant Area).
2. Identifying Assigned Submissions
Upon successful authentication, your dashboard will display a comprehensive list of manuscripts assigned to your portfolio.
To initiate a review, click the pencil icon located adjacent to the specific title you intend to evaluate.
3. Executing the Evaluation
Once the submission details are displayed, scroll to the "Avaliações" (Evaluations) section. You may proceed with one of the following determinations:
Approve: Select this option to recommend the work for acceptance. You may include internal remarks; please note that these comments are curated strictly for the Scientific Committee and will not be disclosed to the authors.
Reject: Select this option if the submission does not meet the necessary criteria. You must provide a formal Reviewer’s Opinion (Parecer). This feedback will be made available to the authors within their respective portals to assist in their academic development.
4. Finalizing the Review
After selecting the status and drafting your remarks, click "Salvar" (Save) to commit your decision.
The system will redirect you to the primary dashboard, where submissions are categorized by status ("Approved", "Rejected", and "Not Evaluated"), allowing for efficient management of your remaining workload.
